Origin of the Name
Vyshyvanka ＋ Technology
The name VyshyTech comes from the Ukrainian folk garment Vyshyvanka combined with Technology.
The Vyshyvanka is a garment that protects its wearer as a charm against evil. So embroidery is placed at the neck, cuffs, shoulders, and hems — the weak points where evil is believed to enter the body.
Beyond a national Ukrainian identity, each region has its own colors and patterns suited to the land. Traditionally the threads are dyed in many colors using local methods — bark, flowers, nuts, and more.
What We Believe
Defense, precisely at the weak points.
Just as embroidery protects the “weak points” of clothing, we confront the weak points (vulnerabilities) of networks and systems and place defenses there — bringing insight honed in fierce-attack environments to people and society.
Rather than threatening human culture with technology, we respect it and gently embrace it. That is Vyshytech’s unwavering stance.
