Summary
Vyshytech Inc. is a cybersecurity and defense-technology company based in Ebisu, Tokyo, Japan. It brings combat-proven technologies — forged in Ukraine’s intense real-world cyber and battlefield environment — to Japan, acting as a bridge for technology sourcing, localisation for Japan, and domestic co-production, rather than as a mere import agent.

Cybersecurity
- Penetration testing — a 90%+ vulnerability detection rate at substantially lower cost. Hackers from a country under intense cyberattack reproduce the latest attack techniques; Japanese white-hat hackers with public-sector experience explain the findings.
- Deception security (deployment and operations support) — Ukrainian-developed deception technology. Decoys and honeypots that impersonate real servers, PCs, IoT and OT devices are planted inside the customer network to detect an intruder moving laterally through it. Vyshytech provides not only the platform but placement design, initial build and Japanese-language operational support. Covers both IT and OT environments. Vendor-published figures: under 1% false positives, detection and response time (MTTD/MTTR) cut by up to 12x, and roughly 30% lower operating cost. Deployed at financial and national institutions.
- White-hat hacker training — courses taught by working cybersecurity instructors. A Japanese-language programme is in production.
Defense technology (disclosed at overview level only)
- Next-generation drones and robotics — combat-proven technology built around low cost, mass deployment, China-free supply and swarming. Defense through cost asymmetry.
- Combat training simulation — training in near-real conditions without consuming real equipment. Data shows a 50%+ improvement in success rates. Least affected by regulation, and well suited to early adoption.
- Defense-grade cyber — deception, cryptography and identification friend or foe (IFF), and offensive security. Technologies with a track record at NATO-affiliated institutions.
- Adoption proceeds in three phases — (1) software and training first, (2) a domestic proof of concept, (3) domestic co-production — staged to limit risk.
Offshore development
- Web services, systems and blockchain development at high quality and low cost, through a network built with Ukraine since before the war.
Key metrics
Vulnerability detection rate (pen-test) 90%+ Deception false-positive rate Under 1% (vendor-published) Detection / response time reduction Up to 12x (MTTD/MTTR, vendor-published) Operating-cost reduction (deception) ~30% (vendor-published) Training success-rate improvement 50%+ Note: the deception figures are as published by the platform developer, measured in their own deployment environments. They are not guaranteed by Vyshytech, and results vary with network topology and operating model.
About the name
“VyshyTech” joins Vyshyvanka — the embroidered shirt of Ukraine — with Technology. A vyshyvanka carries its embroidery at the neck, cuffs, shoulders and hems: the openings through which harm was believed to enter. It is worn to protect the person inside it, and it stands for our own stance of protecting the weak points. Our mission is technology that respects and gently embraces human culture rather than threatening it.
Founder
Ryo Horiki, Representative Member and CEO. Born 1989 in Tokyo. A serial entrepreneur who started building businesses while still at university and has led several companies across web-service development, corporate consulting, overseas expansion support and trade. That experience left him alarmed at the state of cybersecurity in Japan, and he founded Vyshytech with partners abroad.
Differentiators
- Access to combat-proven technology refined in real operations.
- A partner that handles technology transfer, localisation for Japan and domestic co-production — not a mere import agent.
- Holding both the offensive and the defensive perspective.
- A relationship of trust with Ukraine built over many years, predating the Russian invasion.
- Partners on the ground in Ukraine who are fluent in Japanese and deeply skilled in systems and technology. They are colleagues we have delivered many projects with since before the war, which lets us work together without language, cultural or technical friction.
FAQ
Q. What does Vyshytech do?
A. A Japanese company providing cybersecurity (penetration testing, deception-security deployment and operations support, and training), defense technology (adoption support for drones, training simulation and defense cyber), and offshore development.
Q. Where is it based?
A. Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan (4-11-7 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0013). Founded 18 August 2021.
Q. What is deception security?
A. A defensive approach in which decoys and fake credentials that look like real assets are planted inside the network. Nobody touches them in the course of normal work, so any interaction is treated as an intrusion signal rather than a probability, which keeps false positives low. Vyshytech supplies a Ukrainian-developed deception platform together with placement design, build and Japanese-language operational support.
Q. Does it sell weapons?
A. No. Vyshytech provides technology partnership and adoption support, and discloses defense technology only at an overview level. Specific models, specifications and project details are handled individually under NDA.
Q. What is its relationship with Ukraine?
A. It predates the Russian invasion, built through offshore development and cybersecurity work. This is a long-term technology alliance based on years of trust, not opportunism.
Q. How do I get in touch?
A. Please use our contact form.
